A couple of months ago, we revealed insights into who uses Octopart based on the results of a survey we ran earlier this year. The people who use our powerful search engine for electronic components span a diverse group across a variety of industries and job functions, but design engineers and purchasing professionals in consumer electronics industry remain Octopart’s most frequent users. Whether they are just starting out or already have an established career, it is important to understand how people make decisions on Octopart and what information they look for when they search for electronic components.
